At first, My heart really aches out for the lives that have gone because of the horrific management.

I know this is a tragedy could've been avoided with proper care.

Why were the tourist places dependant on Locals????

To let anyone from outside venture on any touristy activities, STRICT RULES and management is necessary.

We have Technology.

Can we not have a simple digital people counters set up at these places to know how many are there in the river on boat?

Can we not have a navigation booth in such places that navigates and guides the drivers at any such places?

Can setting up these booths and maintainence of these must be guided by state government?! Districts and Town officials have strict policies for such areas???

Let's take example from countries like Korea, Japan that are surrounded by Rivers and how they manage things, Can we not?

Forget international things, I've gone to Udaipur Lakes and they ensured without life jackets no one is allowed on board. See rules.

I am 26 i don't know the Government policies enough to comment on the changes to be made here. BUT this falls under STATE Jurisdiction and if you have a river nearby and no safety policies as youth we should ask the officials to work on it.

I stay in Assam that is also a state that's River bound. We have government taking care flood checks but even we don't have digital systems yet.

I'm saying it can be better.

I am asking it to be better.

Why can't we bring Reforms. Can we please keep politics aside for the Indian Lives !
