We have some new Airmen rolling through and after completing FTEC I ask them how it was and almost all of them say it’s boring, useless, too long, etc. I ask them if there’s anything they wanted to go over but didn’t but most say “I don’t know” (which can be understandable, they don’t know what they don’t know)

I remember going through FTAC and having a good time, some things like education and finance were expanded upon and I got to meet a bunch of new people like me.

I’m wondering what’s changed about it. Also wondering from those with newer airmen as well, what do you wish they learned while going through FTEC?

Or asking new airmen directly, what topics do you wish were covered?
