How to best support my son who is delay enlisting?

No one in my immediate family is in the military, so I do not have experience with the enlistment process or what to expect once you enlist. My son just completed his junior year of college and is part of the delayed enlistment program for after he graduates next May.

He is planning to go Special Forces. Last week he went to MEPS and was told his scores were high enough. In the next few weeks, he will meet with his recruiter to look at dates and MOS‘s.

What should he do over the next year to be prepared to enter the Army? What can I do as a parent to help him be ready? What are some reliable resources to help educate myself about all things Army (and the insane amount of acronyms)?
