Having a straight top line on the fence was important to me. That left varying sized gaps under the fence which entice the dogs to dig. I had the idea to install black plastic, no dig edging and add dirt to cover/fill the gaps. Inexpensive and decent looking is the goal. Here’s how it looks so far. The edging was rolled so it needs to straighten out. But I was thinking about gluing it so nothing grows behind it against the fence and there is no gap. I don’t want to ruin the fence so I’m hesitating. Should I leave it just packed against the fence with dirt and eventually grass, accepting the slight waves against the fence? Or should I glue it?
