Losing weight is a funny journey. I’m hitting numbers on the scale I haven’t seen since the pandemic. Back then, when I saw those same numbers, I’d get the hot wave of shame knowing the scale was climbing (and continued to climb and climb after that). Now, there’s a little party in my head at the site of being 194! 🎉 Here’s to the small victories replacing those hot waves of shame!

I had my first zometa infusion yesterday and it went well. Later that night my stomach started hurting and by about midnight I was throwing up and had so much liquid pouring out with diarrhea. I expected bone pain and the flu like symptoms but not a stomach bug reaction! has anyone else had this or heard that it can happen? I’m also on a GLP1 which I wondered if that contributed to the intensity of the symptoms.
