Hi, my name is Eddie. I’m 22, currently in college studying cybersecurity. I have about $13,000 in my brokerage account and around $2,200 in my Roth IRA. Starting July 1st, I’ll have the opportunity to open a 401(k) through my employer.

I’m extremely fortunate to have low expenses right now, and I want to make the smartest long‑term decision. I’m not sure whether I should prioritize contributing more to my Roth IRA or focus on the 401(k). My employer offers a 20% match, and I definitely don’t want to miss out on that.
