today in the class gc, it was announced by the principal that we'll be having like 3 exams a day and there were instructions and stuff. my dumb@$$ replied with this 😭
why do we get tired of eating the same food after a while when there's animals out there eating the same thing everyday? 🤔

but I feel a lil bad like just a teeny tiny bit 🤏 so I was thinking to go make him some normal tea and give him cookies now tho its late at night 😭
and his friend still hasn't gone so I'm js sitting in my room hiding and praying he doesn't come looking for me

for context i’m 16 and my hair is like REALLY long cuz I have never cut it. like actually …its now past my thighs a bit and it’s curly too (3b and c) so it’s not even the easy type of long hair it’s like high maintenance struggles 24/7
and in my family there’s this whole cultural thing where girls (there's no girls on both sides but this culture is on dad's side and basically my grandma, great grandma and so on never did so...) just don’t cut their hair at all. like ever. mine was only cut when i was a baby (when I was 7 days old, it wasn't supposed to be cut but yk its compulsory in Islam so they did it) and since then NOTHING 😭
my grandmas literally treat it like it’s a blessing and every time i even mention cutting it they look at me like i just said i’m gonna shave my head and I get long lectures and hour long hair oiling sessions that I never asked for
i do love my hair like it’s pretty and all but ALSO it’s so hard to deal with??? every morning it’s either my mom brushing it and doing a whole routine with them but if she’s busy i’m just standing there waiting with the messiest messy bun, hoping no one yanks my hair and runs away (my gremlin sisters 🙄)
my dad tries sometimes but pls…that man is fighting for his life with a hairbrush bless him bahahaha
recently i’ve been getting these random urges to just cut it like maybe above my shoulders
now i can’t tell if this is like a real feeling or just me being impulsive and i’ll regret it after. I tried with filters and honestly it looks good but idk...
everyone i’ve asked is just like NOOOO don’t do it and now i feel like i’m planning something illegal instead of a haircut 💀

Okayyy so my sisters and i were all talking last night and somehow this memory came back and i could not keep it to myself…
this is from 2 years ago when my youngest sister was just THREE.
so basically we had guests over at our house, like family and a few of those “uncle” types (you know the ones…not even real uncles but somehow always present cuz they're either neighbors, distant relatives,etc)
my parents were busy hosting in the other room, like setting up food, talking, doing their socialising thing…so we were all kinda in the living room area just hanging out with the kids, with a few people going in and out. yk just normal stuff..
my baby sister waddles in holding snacks, minding her own business, living her best life, munching and looking for the rest of us sisters 😍🥰
and this uncle looks at her, laughs and goes something like “you’re getting chubby huh? you should stop eating so much”
My sisters and I look at each other and are confused LIKE SIR??? THAT IS A BABY???
all of us siblings just froze because did he actually just say that??? to a kid?? while being built like that?? and before anyone of us could react, my little sister walks up to him,looks at him, pokes his stomach, and goes “baby?” 😭
GUYS I WISH YOU COULD’VE SEEN HIS FACE cuz he literally went from 🙂 to 😳 in seconds

one of my sisters immediately turned around trying not to laugh, one almost choked on her juice, one of them stared confused, and the youngest one was still looking up at him while he did that awkward cough-laugh, patted her head and he just awkwardly laughed like “haha kids say anything…” but you could tell he was fighting for his life
AND ME??? I JUST PICKED HER UP AND WENT OUT OF THAT ROOM CUZ I WAS DY!NG AND COULDNT HOLD BACK MY LAUGHTER ANY LONGER. i was about to laugh in his FACE and make it worse 😭 while leaving, she still waved at him and said byeee! and he was red lmaooo and didn't even reply
