I'm replacing my lawn in my back yard and planting natives. Looking into path ideas and don't really care for pavers or crushed stone. At a local park (beach) and was thinking why not the same in my yard?

I like the fact that it's not permenant like pavers or yards of gravel, weeding should be really easy, and looks great to me. I understand that it will shift around, but in my area, all of our soil is basically sand anyway.

Is this a terrible idea? In West Central Florida btw.
