These posts come and go, but there doesn’t seem to be a fresh one floating around.

Just curious about other streamers setups who specifically operate in the singles category. Sports or nonsports. I’m always looking for new ideas/equipment to improve the quality of my show. So i'm curious in seeing your setup! Or maybe you're looking to make the jump from using your phone and you'll get some ideas from my setup. Afterall we all have the same goal, why not learn from each other where we can.

Obviously setups like this are overkill, and sure, there's nothing wrong with a phone stand on a desk. But when I decided to start my Hockey singles stream 15 months ago I decided super early on that I would go all in on OBS to make my production stand out.

I couldn’t stand joining a stream and listening to horrible audio quality, specifically music playing in the background getting picked up by a phone microphone. I knew I couldn’t be alone. So being able to offer high quality music and voice was a priority, followed closely by excellent video quality/multiple cameras.

I don't have a ton of space, so i had to get a little creative with the space i have available. I dont really have room for standard Tripods, and i hate constantly kicking them, so mounting the camera on a desk mount was key. Another example being my smaller lightbox that i use to display the card up for giveaways is sitting above the various arms and yeah, Its a little bit of a hassle to have to put something in it, but because i usually only do between 10-15 giveaways per show its not the worst thing in the world.

So if you're interested, here's a list of what's currently powering my show-

Alpha ZV-E10 - APS-C Interchangeable Lens Mirrorless Vlog Camera Kit - White

- The newest addition, this is my primary product camera. The camera itself is outstanding for video, a bit overkill for Whatnot obviously, so i was able to disable all of the 4k features. Just using the standard 16-50mm Lens that came with it and see no reason to upgrade that at all. I did a lot of research before this purchase, and found that overheating was an issue with some cameras. With the addition of the Dummy battery and being able to flip the LCD screen open so heat can escape just in case, i have had no issues at all. The Autofocus is so adjustable, it works perfectly for what i do and cant recommend it enough.

Elgato Cam Link 4K – External Capture Card for DSLR- Connects the Micro HDMI-Hdmi to a USB port on my computer.

F1TP NP-FW50 Dummy Battery AC-PW20 Power Adapter Kit for Sony ZV-E10- Allows the camera to be plugged into a wall outlet for constant power.

PICTRON VIJIM LS25 Camera Desk Mount- Allows the camera to attach to the desk in a vertical orientation.

Canon EOS Rebel T7 DSLR Camera - This doesn't really count as its something that i already had before my show. Its not ideal for this type of thing but it does work well so i do use it. It also has a dummy battery in and I'm just using the webcam feed through the USB cord to the Canon webcam utility software. I only use it to display the card that i'm giving away. It doesn't have an auto focus feature but it does get the job done, with excellent quality. I would not purchase this however.

HyperX QuadCast S- Just an all around solid Condenser Microphone. highly adjustable with multiple Polar Patterns to choose from to ensure you get the best quality no matter how you have your mic positioned. There are newer models out now, but i just haven't felt the need to upgrade.

InnoGear Mic Boom Arm Microphone Stand- Again i don't have a ton of space, so i needed to have the microphone on an arm that i could manipulate in multiple directions. There are certainly cheaper options for this, i just really liked the look of this one.

Stream Deck + Again, there are cheaper options, and i started out with a similar product from amazon that was <$50 if i remember, but having the option to have different volumes on knobs makes controlling the music/mic volumes during the show much easier. I have a ton of different buttons configured, but this is mainly used to change the scenes, show/hide certian OBS sources, ect. I also use the Multi-action mouse/keyboard input feature to assist in listing the 250+ Prebids i do for each show which has been a huge help. I add the title for the Item and the photos, then press the multi action button i have configured and it does the rest including selecting Auction, adding the starting price, selecting the show the item is for, the shipping profile, and finally submitting the listing.

NEEWER 50W Upgraded Photo Studio Light Box, 24"x24"- The lighting in this room is a bit weird, so with a lot of light setups i wasn't happy with the glare, But i wanted to still be able to use my custom sign, thus a huge lightbox was needed.

RALENO 16"x12"x12" Photo Studio Light Box- Nothing fancy, just a lightbox for the giveaway cards. This was my primary lightbox prior to upgrading to the 24x24.

And thats pretty much that! Pretty much all of the show specific equipment aside from the risers/custom stuff. This obviously was only the equipment and didn't dive in to anything within the OBS software itself.

Like i mentioned, we're all pretty much on the same team as sellers, so if you have any questions or would like some assistance with anything setup related, feel free to shoot me a chat! I'm always willing to help.
