Hi all,

TLDR; Moved to section 4, every part of the coursework feels overwhelming. Is this normal?

So I've been learning Spanish for the best part of 10 months now. I typically do more that just one lesson per day. This last month I've done about 240 lessons, and 645 minutes of learning. So I'd like to think I am dedicated to learning the language.

I feel more confident every month that goes by and my Mexican friend has complimented the speed in which I've picked up Spanish even in our conversations.

However, I just achieved level 30 last night and moved into section 4, I feel massively overwhelmed and under prepared. The answers I have to select from on questions are now entirely in Spanish which is ok but I didn't expect it. They started using superlative forms of words which I didn't know existed and still not entirely sure what purpose they serve...

I subscribe to Max, and although I genuinely find value from the AI calls and since getting the Falstaff update I truly feel they've nailed it on the head in terms of balance between Lily and Falstaff. I find Lily immediately upgraded her vocabulary and expects me to almost maintain a full on conversation, again using words I'd not heard yet. I do love that the calls last longer now though... Falstaff calls last longer too and I have zero complaints for these, originally found these too easy but now I can't get enough of the guardrails back from Falstaff.

Is this a natural feeling for any other language learners who moved up to this stage of Duolingo? I'm hoping I'll adjust as time goes on but it's really taken the wind out of my sails.
