Hoya lacunosa outer variegated is growing too many blooms (peduncles) to count!
[EDIT} Hoya bella outer variegated.
Started as a 2 leaf, short stem cutting December 3. The first picture shows it in the rightmost Aerogarden near the center as that cutting. I have trimmed it several times but it just wants to grow and bloom more or less continuously. I don't know what I am doing right but it is working! Last time I tried to count active peduncles I reached 30 before I gave up. I am hoping it continues to bloom furiously.
Steam Distilled water, GH Hydro Series (half dose), and Continuum. Pump on 24/7. Lights on 4 AM to 7:30 PM. Infrequent light spray with, of all things, Orchid Spray, basically to knock the dust off the leaves.
In the first picture, I have isolated the Hoya kerrii outer variegated and treated it for Flat Mites. It will take some time before I pronounce it pest free. I have prophylactically treated all of my Hoya with Alcohol. I also have a pesticide for flat mites that I will try out, as needed, beyond the H. kerrii.
