I was just reading a sub on leaving academia. I love academia. I couldn't picture doing anything else but between working Mondays till Sundays, being broke, living at home and job hunting not having any work experience outside the ivory tower. All in my late 20s, are you lot happy? Is there room for happiness here, fulfilment and even success?

Rarely do I see postivity on reddit around academia. Advice for a twenty something year old.
