As an aspiring big 4 to top 10 PA future employee hopefully how scared should I be about not just AI but also the massive layoffs and India? I know accounting is still safer than a lot of jobs once u can get that cpa but it’s still scary

As I would be finishing my masters year in 2029 hopefully I can already have my tests passed around that time. Just scary I don’t know how to feel about it all

I was just wondering if it would help me out to get the alytrex and tableau online certifications for my internship applications.

I’m in a somewhat target school, top 10 accounting school, but I want to do as much as I can that makes sense.

I was wondering if it would be a good idea to put an acedemic project on my resume for a big4 internship application this summer.

The project consists of 10,000 fraud transactions that I analyzed in excel and used pivot tables, if statements, countif statements, and many other excel functions to build a system to detect fraudulent transactions before they happen.

Then I used Tableau to make multiple visualizations and a data board. There is more to explain but that is most of it.

Just wanted to know if this would stand out in my resume or if I should leave it off.
