H1B-transfer online filing query
I am switching jobs, and my H1B transfer petition was filed on 1st May online with Premium Processing. We got the receipt number on the same day as well. California Service Center is the adjudication center.
However, my lawyer was expecting another email confirmation from CSC (that they received the petition) by Wed the 6th May, and hasn't received so even till today (8th). It seems the online filing happens with central command at SCOPS Texas (electronic receipt is generated) and then gets sent to CSC, who then send another email confirmation.
Q1. Is receiving this email from the adjudication center a standard part of the process / usual practice?
Q2. How soon have others who have filed online, got this email confirmation (post receipt)?
Q3. Is this delay normal? Should I consider my H1B transfer process to be happening behind the scene, even if we haven't received the CSC email confirmation?
Anything else anyone can share in this regard?
