I’m a 22 year old male, weighing 75kg. I’ve recently been out of my country (Sweden) and visited Portugal and Spain for a week. During the end of my stay last sunday (26th of April) I suddenly developed a fever along with a severe pain on the left side of my throat. The right side is completely fine, and I don’t have any other symptoms like a runny nose. The fever comes and goes, and I got prescribed Andolex 1,5mg/ml for my throat 2 days ago. However it doesn’t help at all how much as I want it to and the pain is still the same and my fever still comes.

I don’t smoke, but I drink on some weekends but not a heavy drinker at all. (Oops my left side of the throat is on the right side in the picture)

What could this be?
