I created this new Reddit account to share a friend's experience. She asked me to share in Reddit to raise awareness. Goal is not to mess anyone's reputation, but help other VAs avoid getting scammed/exploited for unpaid labor:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I found this client on OnlineJobs.ph: TaskHub Recruitment Solutions (owner's name is Crystian Posey. Her VAs who you might get in contact with are: Hannah Zaragoza, Chrystel, and Daphne). Avoid these sc@mm3rs at all costs!
At first everything seemed normal. But once I started working, I was suddenly required to stay on Google Meet for the ENTIRE shift — something that was NEVER mentioned during the interview, job post, or contract. Bigla nalang required after you sign the contract.
While working for them, they only have positive feedback. No issues whatsoever.
After completing a project for them, they will create whatever LIES they can come up with to justify NOT paying you.
The ugly truth is that the company is financially struggling (literally have no funds to pay new & more expensive VAs) but they still keep hiring and will make the conditions unbearable so you leave on your own.
And after you leave, thank you nalang sa hard work mo.
Disgusting behavior from a VA recruitment agency and to think this behaviour of the owner to sc@m Filipino VAs is being supported by her Filipina VA (typical kupal na feeling tagapagmana). I'm sure her older VAs (rates are US$3/hr) would also leave crying once their time is over and tapos na silang iexploit.
I’ve already reported this to OnlineJobs.ph and submitted full documentation.
I will also report sa Better Businesss Bureau, IRS, and will share publicly in Linkedin and other platforms so their clients are aware of their exploitation practices.
Just sharing this so others can be aware before working with this company.
