Im 46 and have been on hrt for the last 1.5 years (patches, progesterone and vaginally estrogen tablets) and I swear that there has not been 1 day over the last year where I havent felt some degree of discomfort "down there", if its not anal fissures with stinging and itching then its sores and burning around my vulva and itchy dryness within as well. Every day Im alternating between a light steroid cream, emollients, estrogen cream, canesten. Anything to try and get some respite but no joy. Is this it? Is this just how it is and I need to get used to it?

Just to top it off I have had to stop wearing any facial skin care products apart from moisturiser because my left eyelid starts swelling up. Why???
