Idk how to explain this but I'm stuck between applying for bsmd or just regular bs (I want to be a surgeon in the future)

I'm applying to these schools in the fall: UMass Amherst, UMass Lowell, MCPHS, Northeastern, BU, WPI, UConn, UChicago, UToronto, UOttawa, QCC

My plan was to do bs then apply for md-phd at top schools

And now I'm hearing abt bsmd but top schools like Harvard won't accept me if I go down that route

Hi everyone,

I'm applying to a ton of programs and they want to know my unweighted gpa. The thing is that I only see my weighted gpa on the transcript, so I'm not sure about the unweighted. My school runs on a 5.0 system btw.

Do I just put my overall gpa into a converter or do I put each grade from every class from every semester into the converter to find my unweighted?

I used the meetyourclass.com calc for each grade in each class and another one for the overall (idk the name), but I got 3.91 vs. 3.72 and idk which one is right.
