My son (who is 8) is absolutely obsessed with building Legos. So when he came home with the assignment to build a diorama of sealife creatures that they were learning about in science class, we knew immediately it needed to be made out of Lego vs craft project. He built all the sealife creatures from various sets (some we already had, some we had to buy extra), and he put all the coral pieces down. My husband and I helped him with the silhouette rock pieces and coral life on the blue walls. And we helped him with the final assembly of everything. It ended up being a family group project, as his older sister (14) helped paint the box too. We know all these creatures in this small area aren’t likely to be next to each other in real world (such as orcas and great whites) but it was fun to assemble together regardless.
