I was thinking that if Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced is a success, Ubisoft could prioritise remaking other Assassin’s Creed games such as Assassin’s Creed Rogue, I think this would be a great idea as Black Flag & Rogue have a lot of similarities such as the naval combat and other gameplay mechanics. I doubt it’ll even take long for a Rogue remake as they could re-use many of the features from Black Flag Resynced whilst keeping both games distinct in other ways.
Following this, after a potential Assassin’s Creed Rogue remake, Ubisoft could remake Assassin’s Creed III, making it tie in with Assassin’s Creed Rogue better such as maybe mentioning Shay or even acknowledging some of the key events that happened in Assassin’s Creed Rogue. All 3 games (Black Flag, Rogue & III) all follow similar gameplay mechanics therefore I strongly believe remaking the colonial Assassin’s Creed games should be done before the Renaissance Assassin’s Creed games as they’ve got something to work with from Black Flag Resynced.
P.S: I already know the rumours of a potential Assassin’s Creed I remake, the discussion above is just one way Ubisoft could pursue in remaking the previous Assassin’s Creed games. Ultimately, I think the possibility of remakes rely heavily on how successful Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced is.
