Hello r/SampleSize,

I am a university student conducting an academic research project on User Experience (UX) and Applied Linguistics. The goal is to measure the "cognitive load," focus disruption, and time loss associated with traditional dictionary lookups while reading.

To measure this accurately, I am conducting a structured 1-week experimental study.

How the study works:

  1. Pre-test Survey (2 mins): Take the short survey below about your current reading habits.
  2. 1-Week Trial: Use an experimental browser extension to read as you normally would for 7 days.
  3. Post-test Survey (2 mins): After 1 week, complete a follow-up form.

🔗 Step 1: Pre-Test Survey Link https://forms.gle/a6XB2Jbu7s7U8k3D6

👉 Step 2: How to join the full 1-week study Since I need dedicated participants for the 1-week trial, the extension link and study coordination details are not public to prevent spam. After taking the pre-test, please drop a comment below (e.g., "Interested" or "I'm in").

I will add you to a temporary Reddit Group Chat where I will share the extension and coordinate the Post-test next week.

Please note: This is strictly for academic data collection.

Thank you for your time and contribution to this research!
