I recently moved to a house my dad owns it has those big steels door/window with a sliding mechanism when I openend it up the full thing collapsed and I broke the whole frame. I called up my dad and he said you will have to pay for it today I called up friends and 3 companies came to take a look at the damage the minimum quote I received was 4000 euro. I’m 20 I’m in university and can’t afford that. The bad thing is the house got sold a while ago and the new owners are moving In in 6 weeks.

What can I possibly do to fix this issue am I completely reliable for the damage and do I have to go in depth to fix the damage

? I legally am still living with my dad on paper. But for the past 2 years I move around his places.
