Im 29F and was just diagnosed after my MRI came back with multiple lesions in the brain and spinal cord. I’ve only had 1 episode at the start of January which led me to investigate my symptoms. I had Optic Neuritis in one eye that went away after 3 weeks without intervention, and tingling in my hands and feet that is almost totally gone today.
My appointment to discuss DMT options is in 6-8 weeks but i’m looking for advice on how i can help myself in the meantime? I was also told to take the Pneumonia, tetanus, shingles and other vaccines - is this the norm?
I’m anxious of having another episode during this waiting period and i don’t know anyone who is going through this scary journey although i am trying to remain optimistic that DMTs can help me life a close to normal life.
