I’m someone who usually likes to read books on the 200/300 pp range. I decided to read “The way of kings” because of my partner, they have read the entire series and I want to learn more about their likes. The issue is that the book is MASSIVE (1001 pp to be exact), nothing like I ever read before. I noticed that I reduced my reading overall since I reached pp 500, I’m a bit tired of the story but I still want to read it.
I enjoy reading and I don’t mind reading two books at once, I want to read a little life (800pp) but I’m concerned that I will be overwhelmed by reading two big books.
The actual question Should I read a small book while reading The way of kings or should I read a big book ?
