I am a dev, CSE grad, working in BLR as a C++ dev all through. I always get average rating and my hikes are always in single digit. I have made only one switch which made my salary go from \~10 LPA to \~20LPA at 5yoe.
When I made the switch, I found the new work not to be that different but pay being double. That made me feel that the same work can pay more, we just need to keep trying? But in this market, I am unsure.
Since I do not have any guidance in immediate family or friends, asking here on what I should do to earn better and grow as a SDE.
