This is my 24’ canyon elevation 🙃 I’ve always had a 1500-2500 truck of some sorts but my first was a 2000 Chevy s10 zr2 in a similar red so feel like I’ve gone full circle lol even with the little hiccups I’m really enjoying the truck and decided to make it a little custom.
First thing I did living in a sunny state was tint.
I started not liking the amber side marker lights on the red so had them tinted and really like how they came out , Also did the tail lights and third brake light.
Decided to remove all the chrome badging and undecided if I’m going to paint them and reapply or just keep them off. Also thanks to another poster I loved the look of the “tuxedo” top and found a deal at a local wrap place to do the roof and pillars and feel like it really breaks up the truck nice.
Installed lasfit LEDs in both the interior and exterior and this honestly was the best thing I’ve done. The factory halogen reverse and break lights are so dim and the extra light is nice unless your facing them 😅
Today I had some new tires put on and wow did that make it really become what I wanted ! As my daily driver that visits the highway frequently but also hits the beach and camp site I didn’t want to lift it more than it is but wanted better more aggressive tires. I went with a 275/65 on the stock rims and really happy how it came out. These Toyos ride so nice and have put 70k miles on a pair previously so hopefully get the same out of these.
If anyone can suggest potentially a coilover or other suspension upgrade to make the ride nicer please give me ideas but untill the next time and happy travels fellow canyons 🫡
