I'm working on my itinerary for a trip to Rome from July 10-July 13 with my partner. So far my itinerary is:

Day 1: Morning: 0830, Colosseum/Palatine Hill/Roman Forum
Afternoon: 1300-ish, lunch at Alla Rampa
1430-ish, tour of Vicus Caprarius, see Trevi Fountain, visit Pantheon
Evening: 1900, dinner at Taverna Lucifero

Day 2: 0830, Circus Maximus, Baths of Callacara, Pyramid of Caius Cestius
Afternoon: ???
Evening: 2045, bottle of wine and watch the sunset at Giardino degli Aranci, and a late dinner in Trastevere

Day 3: ???

Any recommendations for filling the afternoon (~1300-1900) on day 2? I like the idea of something indoors and air conditioned for the summer heat, but other than that open to any ideas--fun activities, classes, museums, etc. in that area, which would make it convenient to be back by the Giardino by sunset time.
