August Burns Red & Heart Support

First off, I just want to say that after 20 years of listening to ABR I finally got to see them live and the experience was nothing like I've ever felt at any other show. It was almost a spiritual experience. They have been one of the most consistent bands in my life that just continuously produce fantastic music and I've never had to skip a song on any of their albums. If you haven't seen them, I highly recommend it because they are just amazing and I can honestly say that was the best show I've ever been to.

Second, on top of being just an awesome group of musicians, Jake Luhr is the founder and president of Heart Support, a non-profit mental health organization he established back in 2011. They are setting up local teams all over the nation to provide support at metal shows and to talk with anyone who needs help or just wants to feel heard about their problems. I've spoken with the local team at 2 separate shows now, they're all volunteers and always welcome anyone wanting to volunteer, and they're just fantastic people.

If you're interested in getting help, providing help, or would just like to donate, please visit https://linktr.ee/heartsupport to give back to your metal community and ensure all of our people can support the music and their peers.

Technical Deathcore?

I was looking through Encyclopaedia Metallum, specifically at Burning the Masses, when I saw they were listed as Technical Deathcore (Early). I've genuinely never heard or seen this term until today. Has anyone else ever actually seen this used "in the wild"?
