PIP application

When did the questions on the PIP application form change ?

Why was the changes made ?

The overall design of the form has changed including where you place your answer, it is no longer broken down into 3 sections it is just all in one.

It makes it a little confusing for people looking for help online in places like https://pipinfo.net

Question on new form

9 Talking, listening and understanding

10 Reading

11 Mixing with other people

It used to be

Question on old form

7 speaking to people hearing and understanding what they say and being understood

8 reading and understanding signs symbols and written words

9 Mixing with other people

I am currently on UC,ESA LCWA, I have a very small work pension from a previous job from before I was to sick to work. It is just over £2000, If I was to take this pension early while still claiming UC how would it affect my payments ?

Would it be classed as savings or income ?

and would I loose my UC for the month I receive this pension payment ?

If I were to leave it and claim it at State pension age how would it affect my state pension ?

I was thinking of taking it early when my Motability lease is due to finish and use it as a deposit against buying a car instead of using Motability.

Thanks
