I honestly dont get it from Thragg's pov

The race is dwindled to less 50 shouldnt they have atleast tried to do the reproduction plan since initially it wouldnt be a problem until a couple generations later until then they would still be producing atleast viltrumites for the empire

meanwhile the males can try to find races like the bug planet. short life spans, easily brainwashable and make as many children to atleast increase their population as much as possible to help them out until they find actually suitable mates

the only benefit i can think of is straight up an unintentional one is that since thragg did what he did in the show he basically gaslit thaedus into thinking they took the virus with no difficulty and survived quite easily
