I moved into this house and am slowly remodeling. The back en-suite bathroom is a wreck. It seems to be a weird add-on that is falling apart. I don’t use this bathroom except for the brushing my teeth. It’s also where the cat’s litter box is so I call it “Gracie’s room.” The toilet doesn’t work and I will be getting the plumbing fixed.
The first picture is what it looks like now. I plan to remove all the walls and add new drywall and wainscoting, replace flooring (extension from the adjacent sunroom), add wallpaper, and new vanity and fixtures.
Second pic is AI rendering. It is pretty close to what I envision, but I will delete the sconce, add a wall mount vanity light, and probably have a black border round mirror.
My house is almost 125 years old and I want to give nods to that while updating it a little. I am a simple gal and like simple things, but I’m open to all suggestions/tips/criticism.
Third picture is the main bathroom that I just finished remodeling and I still need to hang the mirror. But that might give an idea of what makes me happy.
Last picture is the cat tax. This is Gracie and that is her poop room.
