I submitted my PIP form at the end of February and just got a text today saying a face to face appointment has been booked for me. Is it possible to change this to a telephone appointment? does that affect anything?
i very much outlined in my form how my condition affects me on a day to day basis and that it comes with severe standing intolerance, i struggle to walk, i risk fainting every single time i stand up, my body struggles with minimal exertion among lots of other things and i did basically reiterate in my form that i don't leave my house because my condition affects my mobility and they booked a face to face appointment... the place they booked it is too far me to go even if i could and i wouldn't have anyone who would be able to take me regardless because it's far away from the area i live.
i thought giving my condition and the fact i am not mobile i wouldn't of been offered a face to face appointment but here we are. i was just wondering if they will change it if i asked for a telephone and that it doesn't affect the outcome?
