Feedback after 1 week of playing. HORRIBLE. A lot of people have already made posts, so I won’t write a long essay.

The game is in such a bad state that I ended up reinstalling Warzone… and I’m actually a big fan of The Finals.

As a dev, I find the communication, development, and some of the decisions catastrophic. If I were the Product Owner, here’s what I’d do:

Regular beta updates to test improvements/optimizations, with proper feedback collection. Quick rollback if the community doesn’t like it.

Before matches, show a preview of the map/location on the selection screen, not just the name in the top right.

Place new players into onboarding pools. Based on skill level and gameplay analysis, move them into different pools over time. This would prevent smurfs and cheaters from ruining the experience.

Don’t ban cheaters/smurfs outright. Move them into a “cheater pool” with bots. (No thank-you message.) or add phone number verification

Add a ping/latency indicator
