Hi guys.

I'd like to share my idea to make the overall story for Shadow of the Erdtree less disappointing. I'm aware that many people did not mind how it was handled, this is just my take on it. If you think it's crap, I do not mind.

When you defeat the final boss, you can trigger a cutscene where you see Miquella asking a certain character to promise to become his consort. Like some people have stated before, the cutscene is basically pointless since it conveys information we basically already know, considering the fact that we fight the promised consort beforehand.

I would not change the story itself, I would just make one simple adjustment that, in my opinion, would make the overall story a bit more rewarding.

What if: Instead of putting that cutscene right after the final boss of the DLC, it was shown when we access the DLC for the first time?

It would make the player ponder on the identity of this consort right from the start and, as we interact with the NPCs (Ansbach particularly) we'd go from "Who is this consort?" to "How many people did Miquella consider for a consort?" as well as "If Miquella wants only 1 consort, what did he want with both Mohg and Radahn's corpses?"

By the time we reach the final boss and come to the conclusion that Miquella's plan was to ressurect Radahn's by placing it in Mohg's body, I believe it would be as discombobulating as it came across.

Again, this is just my take on it, feel free to say if it's good or terrible, I welcome either.

I apologize for any writing mistakes, as english is not my first language.
