I was thinking of doing random roommate selection for for fall 2026 when I transfer and I was wondering if anyone knows how it works will I just show up day of move in and meet them or are we given ways to contact each other and kinda get to know them before move in.

I was wondering if anyone had advice on whether I should go with random roommates for a deluxe triple, or if I should try to find roommates on my own, and how?
