News came out about the new Discovery Class ships for Royal Caribbean. I know I'm probably in the minority, but I was hoping they'd be around the same size as the Radiance Class, maybe a little larger. However, finding out that they can accommodate over 4,000 passengers is upsetting. This means they will likely be around the same size as Quantum Class ships.

Sad news from the Carnival Firenze. The cruise line reported that a woman fell off her balcony and died. I'd like to know more about how that could have happened, but regardless, prayers to her family during this time.

This is the second tragic cruise-related death of the week, with the first being the crew member who went overboard from the NCL Breakaway.
