Why do people glaze this line?

Why do people glaze this line?

It doesn't make any sense, we are show time and time again, that being GOOD actually works in our favour and that having faith and helping fellow men works and is important for the crusade, not only is Regill a bad leader, since all his ideas end up in failure and he doesn't follow his own orders(he should've killed himself after being captured by the gargolys), he actually ignores what's being said, ignore the metaphysics in the battle against demon and demon lords, truly a smart take sir.
Regill is also helped by the narrative, it tries desperately to establish him as a pragmatic genius, but you can't actually attack his points, like, >!after Sosiel manages to save almost 100% of the troops while being EATEN alive, Regill should've realized he is being dumb, because his plan revolves around throwing people until it works!<, not only that,I see people defend that his ideas and worldview make sense(they don't, unless you're playing a comically evil character), like, he isn't pragmatic or anything like that, he is comically evil and that's why he ends up in a meet hook, he isn't smart enough to lead or to realize that killing and torturing your own troops doesn't work.
There is also the fleshmarket and Slave trainer lines, if you're playing a good character and you allow that type of person to hold power over people and advise you, you are evil, besides, his sidequests are trash, straight up garbage, people complain about Nenio's quest, but her quest is actually interesting and fun, like, you realize it's a test the moment he asks you to sit with the demoness.

btw english isn't my first language and my text is probably shitty, sorry for that

>!Edit: I still don't understand why the hellknights in act 5 try to fight you, I literally beat the crap of a demon lord with my party!<
