I want to share something I've been working on — but first, the context.

I kept running into the same conversation in ecommerce communities: store owners know they should be upselling at the cart, but the tools available are either too complex, too expensive, or require a developer to set up properly.

So I built something simpler.

Growify Cart Upsell adds a "You may also like" section directly inside the Shopify cart drawer. No popups. No redirects. No complicated rules engine. Just a clean, native-looking upsell that shows up when your customer is already in buying mode — right before they hit checkout.

The idea behind it:

The cart drawer is one of the highest-intent moments in the shopping journey. The customer has already decided to buy. That's the moment to show them one more thing they might want — not with an aggressive popup, but with a simple, well-placed suggestion.

How it works:

  • You select which products to feature as upsells (you stay in control)
  • Customize the section title and button color
  • Enable the block in your theme — no code needed
  • Customers can add upsell products with one click, without leaving the cart
