Swelling in feet

So my mom with dementia has had some swelling in one or both ankles/feet, and also her right hand. This is not a new thing and I am aware this can be indicative of CHF but her dr said it wasn’t edema, just swollen. And her last EKG showed a strong heart. But I’m wondering if she’s in pain or if this makes it hard for her to walk. She seems less mobile lately.

Today, when I press on the skin, it feels squishy like dough. I noticed her legs and feet are cold and she also sleeps on her right side all the time. Obviously, there’s a lack of circulation there. And I was wondering if lymphatic drainage massage could help this? If so, does US insurance cover it? Thank you.

Bed rails and ramps - suggestions

I currently have one of those smaller bed handles with a light that comes on automatically. And then I have a little stepstool for the bed. Lately, my mother is getting more creative and I think I need a more hospital type bed rail (not bed)And also maybe a ramp so she can walk up instead of having to step up. Can anybody make any suggestions on products they may have tried? Also does insurance I cover the stuff or should I just look it up on Amazon or somewhere?

URGENT PRAYER REQUEST:

My mom is not feeling well. I think she has a fever but I can’t get a proper temp (she has dementia and won’t let me keep thermometer under her tongue). I ordered a forehead thermometer but it won’t be here until tomorrow. In the meantime, I was able to give her some Tylenol so hopefully that helps. I’m so worried about her 😢 Please pray for her - that she makes a full and quick recovery. Please heal my mother in the blood of Jesus. In Jesus’ name I pray. 🙏🏻
