After 2 years of fighting for it I got my dream job
I've been working a hard, demanding, manual labor job for about 2 years now, since graduating college. Its been slowly crushing me in mind, body, and spirit. I have asked the last few companies I've worked for for opportunities to move into another department, one that actually aligns with my degree.
Within the last few weeks my body has finally given up, I've been in pain every day and on meds to help with the pain and inflammation. I asked my job to please ease up on the amount I am doing and they ignored me and I ended up in so much pain I couldn't work for days.
I applied for and finally got my dream job, and I cannot be happier. Finally, someone gave me a break. It took everything from me these past 2 years.
