hey everyone, i just bought an IKEA BILLY bookcase and i'm a bit unsure about the shelf pin holes.

some of the holes look slightly chipped/damaged around the edges i think? (circled in red), i inserted the pins inside the first hole then changed my mind and inserted them in the one below. The pins still go in snug but i can pull them out by hand without too much effort. is that normal, or should i avoid using those holes?

i'm a little worried about the shelf cuz i don't want it to fall or something
