We're moving into a house where we can have an office and space for a guest bed. We both work from home so the extra room is ideal but I'm struggling to figure out the best layout.
The room is 4.88m x 2.13m so quite narrow.
My idea was to put a sofa bed / day bed in that can be pulled out when family comes to stay, maybe once every 6 weeks or so.
I've added in ideas including the sofa as it is and pulled out to get an idea of space. My parents are in their late 60's and I don't really want them to have to crawl over the bed to get to the other side and I'm also not a fan of having my back to the door so it's a bit tricky! We would also have to leave enough room for the bed to pull out and ideally don't want to be moving desks around every time but we will if we need to.
Picture 4 seems the most logical at the moment and we could possibly see about putting in a sliding door but I don't know how great they are for privacy?
Any suggestions would be great. Unfortunately we can't afford a Murphy bed right now but hopefully in the future!
