morning all

I’m looking to do my first real HPDE. I’ve done a trackcross before in the rain, but thats all for real life experience.

i am driving a mustang GT pp1, and it’ll be my first time with a manual on track as well. it has fairly new falken all seasons on it

my question is, is it worth buying summer tires for the first time, or just go with the all seasons and see how it goes? I don’t really want to buy track tires as I don’t have a spare set of wheels right now… would just put the all seasons back on in the fall if that’s the route.

I’d prefer to stick with the all seasons for the first time to get a feel for limitations, unless it’s stupid and going to ruin the experience or safety.
