>!I’ve been thinking about Enjin, Tamsy and the Surebrec family for quite a while. As already suggested in some theories and now seemingly supported by recent hints, there’s a high chance that Enjin’s ancestors had also a direct connection ( or something quite similar) to Icol and might even have been close to him!<

>!On Enjin’s van, the word “Chimera” is written in the Gachiakuta alphabet!<

>!So I’m jumping on the Greek mythology train for a moment. What does the Chimera actually represent? It was a plague-bringing monster in Greek mythology. Cerberus, on the other hand, was the guardian of the underworld. The underworld has always been associated with the “dark,” but dark does not automatically mean evil. It can simply represent a counterpart. So the “dark” could basically be the counterbalance to the Sphere ("light")!<

Here’s my theory:

>!What if Icol was the first to actually have some kind of supernatural power people call jinki today? The first ancestors of the current protagonists families/clans were connected to him? ( there are hints for ex. the spellcaster murals). Each clan could have had a special relationship with him, and the world existed in a kind of balance. Icol protected them by giving certain family members the ability to awaken their own Jinki and in return the families/clans were supposed to maintain peace among each other and treat the world with respect.After Icol’s death, Canis, as an Undertaker (literally someone who deals with the dead), might have acted on Icol’s final wish. What if Icol’s body became due to this last wish the guardian at the border, and his soul/power was manifested into the the items we know as the Watchman collection? That would mean Icol still exists in some form, filling the “gap” in the hearts of the chosen users, and those users are bound to protect the world. This could also explain why only direct descendants of the original clans are able to use the Watchman items. We know Canis was the creator and original owner, but what if he distributed parts of that power among the clans like Icol was wishing for?!<

>!Now, what if Tamsy belongs to one of the ancient families/clans like Rudo?!<

>!We know that something is sleeping inside Rudo, an abnormal power that could potentially lead to disaster. We also saw Rudo as a child with relatively normal hands, only showing early signs at the fingernails, meaning his condition is progressing over time. We know Tamsy is clearly trying to trigger whatever is inside Rudo!<

>!So what if Tamsy’s ancestors and some other clans became greedy and tried to claim that power for themselves, and as punishment they were banished to the Sphere? That would mean Tamsy’s descendants are actually the origin of the Sphere? But before they were banished, they managed to place a curse on Canis and his descendants out of revenge!<

>!What if Tamsy is now trying to fulfill that curse or prophecy to wipe out the other descendants for all time? (Sidenote that could also explain why Zodyl wants to bring down the Sphere on the other hand. It’s possible that he learned about parts of this indirectly through some influence of the occult movement and hidden knowledge he experienced during childhood and belongs to one of the the old clans )!<

>!The gloves Rudo wears are suppressing his pain, but what if they also slow down the transformation? Maybe Regto gave them to him specifically to suppress the curse!<

Now finally back to “Chimera” and Enjin:

>!What if using the watch ( time-related Jinki) actually affects Rudo’s curse and makes it progress faster ?!<

>!What if the watch is basically like a “red button,” similar to a timed detonator that eventually goes off?!<

>!Enjin could really become the “Chimera,” the one who unleashes disaster upon humanity, not because he is evil, but his actions cause something far worse!<

>!What if Enjin, through using it, defeats Mymo but at the same time triggers Rudo’s curse, which would play directly into Tamsy’s hands?!<

>!I’m really reaching here, but what if Tamsy used the watchman book to influence Mymo’s thoughts in order to provoke exactly this kind of scenario and has been planning everything this for a long time?!<

>!I mean that quite literally: what if Tamsy is like a puppeteer, someone who has been pulling the strings all along since the beginning?!<

>!( Sidenote: I am still wondering if possibly Corvus on the one hand is even helping Tamsy? We know he is "using" Rudo to get informations, but what are his true intentions?)!<
