I recently got Biometrics RFE for my H1B Extension, and wanted to share the timeline.
H1B +H4 + H4 EAD PP Filed together
March 12 2026: H1B E-Receipt Date
March 25 2026: H1B RFE for Biometrics Email received
April 3 2026: Received Biometrics Appointment Letter in Mail for April 15
April 15 2026: Provided H1B Biometrics
April 16: Status changed to we received response to Biometrics and Premium Clock has Restarted
May 1: Received Biometrics Appointment letter in mail for H4 EAD ; Appointment scheduled for May 15
May 5: H1B Approved - status changed on the website; Lawyer got email at same time as status changed on Website
Waiting for H4 and H4 EAD
Hope this is helpful. Was a long and stressful wait for H1B even after paying for Premium services. For record, i do not have any case in the past, only minor traffic ticket.
