I’m a 41M Australian living in Okurayama, Kohoku-ku, Yokohama with my Japanese wife, 4-year-old daughter, and small dog.
I’ve been in Japan nearly 20 years, but only a few years in this area. I’ve never had many Australian friends in Japan, and have a total of zero specifically in this area.
With a young child, and no plans to leave, I’d love to change that, mainly to give her some more exposure to Australian culture and people.
I wondered if there were others around the area that felt the same way. It would be great to gradually build some connections locally among Australians, especially those with children.
