Hi all,
As the title says, I'm currently separated from my partner, and the loves of my life (cats) also live in that house. It really pained me to leave them behind, but until we humans figure out our situation, I figured the best thing for the babies is to leave them in the comfort of the only home they know. I haven't seen them in weeks, but I need to pick some things up within the next week. These are things that I can't ask my partner to grab for me.
So my options are:
Run in and out and be as quick as possible in grabbing the things.
Tell a family member where the things are, and have them pick them up (though this might be a bit tricky because I'm not exactly sure where some of the items are).
Ask my partner to give me a full day (or at least a few hours) in the house so I can hang out a bit and explain to the cats that I am back just for that day, but that I will need to leave them again indefinitely.
Any other options/ideas??
I'd like to go with whatever is least stressful/confusing for the cats.
