My ACL & meniscus surgery is coming up soon and now that it’s getting closer, I’m definitely starting to get nervous. I’d really love to hear other people’s experiences — especially what recovery was actually like, pain levels, what the first few days/weeks felt like, and anything you wish you knew beforehand.
What helped the most with pain, sleeping, getting around, boredom, showering, etc.? Was there anything you bought or prepared ahead of time that made recovery easier?
I know everyone heals differently, but hearing real experiences would honestly help calm my anxiety a bit and help me feel more prepared going into it. Thanks in advance 🫶
