Ripley was so smol, so playful, so energetic, and just so stinkin' CUTE (as you can see).

...he was such a good boi, but only the good die young. One largely random seizure, after 5 years never having any problems with it before, and Ripley's life was cut short.

After I lost my own dog 3 years ago (12~ y/o rescue dog, GDV contraction after two years, awful night), when Ripley was just two years old, the little guy has more than made up for it.

He wasn't even my dog, but I loved him like it all the same. I always looked forward to seeing this little furball every time I went to my grandparents' house for a gathering, petting him, holding him, playing fetch/tug of war with his favorite bone or rope or flamingo plush (which he would absolutely destroy, not that I ever saw it)

I really wish I got to take care of the little guy at least once...but beyond that, no regrets. Cherish every moment with everyone you love, man or animal, because you never know when they'll be gone.

I'm gonna miss you so much, buddy. Later, Rip...until we meet again...
