Hi everyone,

I’ve been using SEEK a lot and noticed a common problem: many job ads either hide salary or make it hard to compare roles quickly. You often have to open many listings just to figure out whether a job is worth applying for.

I built a free Chrome extension called PayContext that adds extra context directly to SEEK search results, including:

- salary details when they are shown in the listing

- market pay context when salary is not disclosed

- signals such as whether a role appears to be posted by a recruiter or directly by an employer

It runs locally in the browser and is currently built for SEEK Australia.

I’m not trying to sell anything. It’s free, and I’m mainly looking for feedback from Australian job seekers:

- Is salary context useful when browsing SEEK?

- Would recruiter/direct employer signals help you decide which jobs to open?

- Is there anything confusing or missing?

Thanks — any feedback would be appreciated.
